Len Duckworth Fish & Chips

The interesting history and legend of Len Duckworth’s Fish & Chips is quite compelling and at times humorous. Jack and Edith Duckworth started the fish & chip shop in September 1929, yet the sign that hangs outside of the restaurant declares, established in 1930. Upon retiring in the early 1950’s they passed the torch on to Len Duckworth, who continued the tradition for many decades.

With Grandparents, Parents, Children, and their children declaring that Len Duckworth Fish & Chips are the best anywhere – We certainly aren’t going to argue … The Duckworth Family is proud to hold a special place in the hearts of many of their customers and have been doing so since 1929. A “Toronto Tradition for nearly a Century”.
