Ignacio Tartavull and Gellert Mattyus are the founders of this company and after having a read of some of the articles a few months back I see a few interesting points about how this robot is definitely a greener choice for food delivery. Queue in a pandemic and you have a pretty good solution for keeping people safe as well by avoiding that in-person contact.
Food delivery typically falls on a fossil fuel burning vehicle causing havoc to our environment. Ignacio and Gellert have come up with a solution that helps. Nobody wants to lose jobs, but this would shift jobs to a home operated dispatch worker who uses a controller to navigate safely around the Toronto streets. Sounds kinda fun, doesn’t it?
