Making of Udon
We believe Umami should come from the taste of food in its rawest form. Our udon is made with a few simple ingredients: 100% Japanese flour imported from Sanuki, Kagawa prefecture – Japan, sea salt, and soft water. Udon is made fresh every day in the restaurant’s designated glass window udon-making room. The soup base is made in-house with all-natural ingredients. The gourmet taste you experience comes from our finest ingredients, the chef’s craftsmanship, and his devotion to food.
Udon and more
As an udon specialty restaurant, we offer options of hot and cold serve udon, tsuke udon & curry broth udon. Choice of toppings includes tempura, onsen tamago, sous-vide duck breast, Wagyu (or AAAA grade) beef, and slow braised Sengenton (mixed-breed Pork belly) are readily available. Traditional Japanese side dishes such as Sushi & maki roll, donburi (rice bowl), and hot dishes such as braised beef tongue are good compliments to your meal.
