Tony Cappellano opened the first Boom location in 2003 at College Street in Toronto. Over the years he would grow the brand to three more locations at St. Clair, Eglinton, and Vaughan. Tony was involved in every aspect of the business from clearing tables to welcoming guests and running the kitchen. Many staff who went on to open their own restaurants’ credit Tony with their exceptional experience. Aside from his big heart Tony was famous for “the greatest cappuccino” you ever had.
